We will start using outbound caller ID 09 471 71700 instead of an unknown number

HUS units can start using a general outbound caller ID instead of hiding the caller ID.

When a call comes from a HUS number that has the outbound caller ID in use, the recipient's phone will show that the call is coming from the number 09 471 71700. If the recipient then calls this number, they will hear a recording in Finnish, Swedish and English stating that they have received a call from HUS and we will call them again. The recipient can wait for us to call them again. Our switchboard staff cannot see which HUS number has been used to make the call.

By implementing the outbound caller ID, we aim to improve our customer service and hope to reach our clients better, as the caller ID will not be an unknown number. Some people do not answer calls coming from an unknown number.

Android phones may display the caller ID as something other than HUS, if the setting “See caller and spam ID” is on. This may cause confusion.
