Meilahti Triangle Hospital is located in Meilahti in Helsinki. On the hospital inpatient wards, we treat patients in the specialty fields of cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, hematology, and internal diseases, as well as transplantation surgery.

The hospital also has a short-stay emergency ward offering short-term inpatient emergency treatment of 48 hours or less after which the patient is discharged home or for further treatment to another facility

Stem cell transplantation procedures and the consultation service for systemic rheumatic diseases have been nationally centralized in Finland to Meilahti Triangle Hospital. The hospital has outpatient clinics in several specialty fields, as well as activities supporting research and treatment, such as laboratory and imaging services, Dialysis Center Delta, and Dialysis Teaching Center.

The hospital works closely with the adjacent Meilahti Tower Hospital, and the hospitals share a common main entrance. The Meilahti Triangle Hospital is located to the left after coming in through the Meilahti Tower Hospital entrance.

We train future health care professionals in our hospital. Students may participate in your care with your permission. Consenting or refusing student participation will not affect your care.

Visiting hours are listed on each ward’s web page. Not all units are open to visitors due to the specific nature of their operations. Such units do not have visiting hours.

Our hospital is smoke-free. Our hospital follows the principles for a safer space .

The café in Meilahti Bridge Hospital is located in the Bridge Hospital’s lobby on the 3rd floor.

In the entrance lobby of Meilahti Hospitals, there is also a vending machine operating 24/7, offering drinks and snacks.
The café in Meilahti Tower Hospital has closed down due to renovation on July 29, 2026. The café will reopen in 2029.

Welcome to the OLKA service point in Meilahti Triangle Hospital! The OLKA service point is in the entrance floor lobby. 

The hospital volunteers help you at the service point. Our OLKA-coordinator is usually available there Monday till Thursday 9:00 a.m.–noon. Together with the coordinator, you can find the type of support or volunteer work that best suits you.

Brochures presenting organizations and hospital units are available at the service point.

The hospital also has volunteers. The volunteers wear light green vests. The volunteers offer unhurried encounters and are committed to confidentiality. They are there for you when you need advice on navigating in the hospital, someone to talk to, or peer support.
