Research is the basis of good care. We use science to promote the health of children by finding new methods of preventing, identifying, and treating illnesses.

The Pediatric Research Center (PRC) is located in Helsinki, in the Meilahti hospital area. Here, our research groups work in the largest Faculty of Medicine in Finland, the largest children’s hospital in the Nordic countries and several other research institutes located in the area.
