Administration and decision-making
Here you can find information on the decision-making bodies of HUS. There are also links to agendas and minutes of management meetings.
The highest decision-making body in the hospital district is the council, which appoints the executive board to run the hospital district for its term of office. The executive board focuses on attainment of the strategic goals of the hospital district and on balancing the finances. Each of our hospital areas is run by a committee appointed by the council.
Our CEO is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the joint authority. The CEO presides over the joint authority administration, whose duties include the day-to-day management of the joint authority and its financial administration in accordance with the joint authority's strategy.
