We are also treating patients with coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Surgical Hospital. Patients come to the hospital from other HUS hospitals on a physician’s referral.
However, patients who have or suspect that they have a coronavirus infection, cannot seek treatment at the hospital directly.
We are not receiving any visitors at the Surgical Hospital for the time being.
Emergency dental care for patients with COVID-19
Emergency dental care for patients with COVID-19 or another acute respiratory infection, or for patients exposed to the coronavirus, is arranged at the Surgical Hospital.
During office hours, you can contact dental care services in your municipality.
You cannot book an appointment directly for emergency dental care, as a dentist will first assess the need for urgent care.
Emergency Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases
The Emergency Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases, Ward K6, as well as inpatient and ambulatory surgery for ear, nose and throat diseases are located in the Surgical Hospital. The Tumor Outpatient Clinic also operates in the Surgical Hospital.
Breast Surgery Unit locates in Surgical Hospital, 3rd floor. Please check in with the secretary when you arrive.
In addition to the treatment of coronavirus patients, the dialysis units continue to operate at the Surgical Hospital via a separate entrance from the south side of the building.
