Falling ill, being hospitalized and the associated life changes can involve many types of emotions. We offer a variety of support services and peer support for you and your loved ones in adapting to your illness.

OLKA

OLKA® refers to coordinated organization and volunteering work in our hospitals. OLKA offers unhurried caring and support in coming to terms with an illness.

Hospital chaplains at HUS hospitals

A hospital chaplain can provide psychological and spiritual support for you and your family.

Social work

As a patient at HUS, you can discuss how the disease affects your life situation with a health care social worker. You can contact the social worker through the nursing staff responsible for your care.
