For example, we treat patients who have a fear of childbirth, and pregnant patients with gestational diabetes or need for special support. We have digital care pathways in place to implement part of our follow-up work.
For treatment, you need a referral from a maternity health clinic (neuvola) physician or nurse, or a private physician. Based on the referral, we assess the need and urgency of treatment. You will be informed of the appointment by letter, telephone, or via the Maisa Portal. You can make an appointment for monitoring during late pregnancy (pregnancy weeks 41+5) by calling the clinic yourself.
