Surgery Preparation and Discharge Unit, Meilahti

Our patients arrive at the Surgery Preparation and Discharge Unit on the morning of the day of their operation, and after preoperative preparations they transfer to the operating room.

Our patients prepare for surgery at home according to instructions we give them by phone or at a preliminary appointment.

After postoperative monitoring in the recovery room, patients are transferred to the ward of the relevant specialty for further treatment.

Some of our patients are discharged directly after the surgery and recovery room period.
