Medicine Ward 4A, Lohja Hospital

Medicine Ward 4A at Lohja Hospital, we treat patients with myocardial infarction, cardiac insufficiency and arrhythmias in a multi-professional, competent and patient-centered way.

Medicine Ward 4A has 12 patient beds. All patient beds have the possibility for central monitoring. Monitoring a patient includes monitoring of the heart rhythm, pulse, blood pressure and respiration rate.

Patients will be transferred to our ward for further treatment also from hospitals in the Helsinki metropolitan area, for example, after heart bypass surgery, balloon dilatation or implantation of a pacemaker.

The consideration, support and guidance of family members is an important part of the patient’s overall good care.
