The Maternity Ward N6B in Jorvi Hospital is a maternity ward for those who have given birth. We offer individual guidance on taking care of your baby, and the possibility for a quick discharge. We have four family rooms and three shared rooms each with room for two mothers and their babies.
Family rooms are suitable for healthy mothers who have had a normal pregnancy and childbirth. The condition is that the baby has been carried to full term (37 full weeks of pregnancy) and does not require any special monitoring. A final decision on the suitability of the family room will be made after childbirth. The family must also be able to take care of the newborn as independently as possible with the support of our nursing staff. No advance reservations to family rooms can be made.
We also offer visits after the mother and baby have been discharged in our ward (Appointments for postpartum women). Maternity Outpatient Clinic at Jorvi Hospital is also located near. We are committed to the Baby-Friendly Initiative of WHO and UNICEF.
