Arriving to Jorvi Hospital

The new ward building at Jorvi Hospital will open in phases

Treatment units in the new ward building will open in phases starting on August 24, 2026.
Please see each unit’s website for their moving schedule and new location.
Jorvi Hospital’s main entrance A and the info desk in the main lobby are open on weekdays 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. During the night, the public should use the Jorvi Hospital entrance B, which can be opened via the intercom.

Access to the different units in Jorvi Hospital is through different entrances. Check your invitation or the unit’s website which entrance you should use.

  • The main entrance (A) of Jorvi Hospital is located at the address Karvasmäentie 8 A, at the street level (1st floor) and is clearly identifiable. There is ample space outside the entrance. 
  • The entrance to the adult and pediatric emergency departments is from the address Turuntie 150. 
  • The entrances to building section B are at the addresses Karvasmäentie 8D and Turuntie 150E. 
  • The entrances to building section G are at the addresses Karvasmäentie 10B and 10C. 

PLEASE NOTE! Patients coming in to give birth should go to Espoo Hospital. The main entrance to Espoo Hospital is at the address Karvasmäentie 6. 

Parking in the hospital area

We recommend that you use public transport if possible when coming to our hospital.  On weekdays, about 25 buses per hour stop at the hospital. Please use HSL’s Journey Planner for detailed directions. 

Short-term parking for drop-off and pick-up traffic is possible near all our entrances. 

Longer-term parking is available in the Espoo Hospital P1 parking garage. Parking in the Jorvi Hospital area is subject to a fee.

Barrier-free access to Jorvi Hospital is provided via a passageway from Espoo Hospital and the P1 parking garage. The passageway is closed at night.

Kela taxis retrieve clients from our new main lobby where clients waiting for a Kela taxi have their own waiting area.  

Info, registration and visiting hours

The new main entrance to Jorvi Hospital (entrance A) is located at the street level (1st floor) in the new Jorvi Hospital building. The route to the new main entrance is from Karvasmäentie. The new main lobby has an info desk and self-registration kiosks. 

From the main lobby, you can take an elevator or an escalator to the 2nd floor lobby.

The info desk is located in the new main lobby on the 1st floor. There is an induction loop available at the info desk.  

Info desk opening hours April 20–August 31, 2026: 

  • On weekdays 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.  
  • On weekends and public holidays 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.  

The main entrance and the info desk are closed during the night. During the night, the public should use the Jorvi Hospital entrance B, which can be opened via the intercom. 

Starting September 1, 2026, the info desk will be open 24 hours a day. 

Please register as instructed in your invitation letter using a self-registration kiosk, the Maisa application, or at the ward.  

After registration, you will receive detailed directions to the correct waiting area where you will be called in for your appointment.

Please do not bring flowers to our ward.

All our elevators for clients are barrier-free. Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the 1st floor main lobby.  

Accessible toilets are located in the main lobby on the 1st floor. The toilets are usable from one side only, meaning that the clear floor space intended for a wheelchair is provided only on one side of the toilet seat. The 2nd floor lobby additionally has accessible toilets in the women’s and men's restrooms. 

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome, but otherwise pets are not allowed on the premises.
