Department of Oncology X-ray unit

In the Department of Oncology X-ray unit, we perform imaging examinations with an appointment.

The Oncology Outpatient Clinic will book you an appointment for the examination.
You will be informed of the appointment by letter.

You are free to choose your X-ray location

Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.

How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?

Examinations always require a referral. More information on the required preparations, arriving for examinations, and receiving the test results can be found here.
