Arriving to Comprehensive Cancer Center

Our info desks are located immediately adjacent to the entrances. There are self-registration kiosks in our entrance lobbies. This kiosks can be used from a seated position. We use a queue number system for admitting patients at the registration desk. There is an induction loop for hearing aids available in our lobby area. 

The main entrance has a higher (105 cm) and a lower (75 cm) service desk. Registration desks are low in height (75 cm). 

The desks at the Paciuksenkatu entrance are high (115 cm).

Whenever possible, we recommend that you use public transport when coming to visit us.

There are no steps at our entrance. The glass doors will open automatically. 

Our elevators are generously dimensioned and are suitable for users of wheeled assistive devices. 

All hospital floors have barrier-free restroom facilities.

The main entrance to the Comprehensive Cancer Center is located at Haartmaninkatu 4, building 2. There is an info desk and a café in the lobby. 

The hospital’s second entrance is located at Paciuksenkatu 3. There is an info desk and a café in the lobby. 

The oncology wards are located at Meilahti Bridge Hospital and the hematology inpatient wards at Meilahti Triangle Hospital. You can enter the Bridge Hospital and Triangle Hospital from the main entrance of the Meilahti hospitals, located in building 1.

A fee is charged for outdoor parking in the Meilahti hospital area. Price information and instructions for paying for parking are available on the HUS Properties website. 

Two means of payment are available for outdoor parking:

• Pay at a ticket machine before parking. Please note that most of the ticket machines only accept coins.
• Pay by mobile device. You may use the EasyPark or ParkMan apps. For further information, please contact the service providers.

Customers visiting the Meilahti hospitals have access to underground parking garages P1, P2, and P3. The parking garages are open to our customers from Monday to Sunday from 6:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m. A fee is charged for parking in the hospital area.

P1 (Haartmaninkatu 4): Access to other buildings in the hospital area is via the outdoor area. The pedestrian exit is via the elevators in Biomedicum 1 (Haartmaninkatu 8). There is a ticket machine in the elevator lobby at the entrance level in Biomedicum. 

P2 (Stenbäckinkatu 9): There is a tunnel connecting this parking garage to other buildings in the hospital area. Ticket machines can be found along the pedestrian routes exiting the parking garage. 

P3 (Zaidankatu 1): There is a tunnel connecting this parking garage to other buildings in the hospital area. Ticket machines can be found along the pedestrian routes exiting the parking garage.
