Colchicum, Autumn crocus (Colchicum)
Highly toxic. The whole plant contains toxic colchicine. Typical symptoms include a burning sensation in the mouth, thirst, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, bradycardia, hallucinations, sensory disturbances, and respiratory depression. Multi-organ failure is possible. If the plant has been ingested, the patient should seek medical attention.

Columbine (Aquilegia)
The plant is non-toxic. Common columbine (Aquilegia vulgaris) has been found to contain toxic substances, but despite this, no cases of poisoning have been reported in the literature.

Common ink cap is edible. It can cause antabuse-like reactions (for example flushed face, nausea and palpitations), if consumed with alcohol. If ingestion with alcohol is suspected, contact the Poison Information Center. Save the mushroom for possible identification afterwards.
