On Women's Hospital's Maternity Ward 61 we treat women who have given birth and newborns after childbirth. We also provide guidance on caring for the baby, breastfeeding and the mother’s recovery. We also take care of neonatal outpatient clinic appointments at the ward after discharge.
On Ward 61, there are two salon rooms for two patients each, where we place new mothers and babies in good condition. The salon is for a stay of a minimum of six hours, before going to the Family Nest Hotel or home.
Our ward has one to three family rooms available and rest of the rooms are double rooms. In our family rooms, you can bring your spouse or other support person to stay with you for the duration of your hospital stay. We charge a double fee for the family rooms.
If the mother is staying in a double room, one support person with no symptoms of a respiratory infection may visit the room for a maximum of one hour between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Only two support persons are allowed in a shared patient room at a time. The newborn’s siblings or other visitors are not allowed at the ward during the coronavirus epidemic.
We plan your treatment individually. We are committed to the Baby-Friendly Initiative of WHO and UNICEF.
