The Allergen Laboratory provides specialized laboratory tests of allergies to prove allergy antibodies and causes of allergy (allergens).
As the only such unit in Finland, our laboratory has an in-house Immunospot assay and a commercial microchip test in use. An Immunospot assay can be used to detect allergen antibodies. In addition, we maintain a national anaphylaxis register.
