Changes in opening hours
The laboratory is closed for Easter on Friday, April 3, 2026 and Monday, April 6, 2026. We will serve customers according to normal opening hours on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
The office is closed on Friday, May 1, 2026 and Thursday, May 14, 2026.
In the Myyrmäki laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments and walk-in customers may take a queue number. We recommend booking an appointment.
- After 3:00 p.m., only customers who want to pick up or return sample containers and urgent patients and children will be served by queue number.
- On Thursdays after 3:30 pm and on Saturdays we are open by appointment only.
- You can come for urgent sampling without an appointment also on Thursdays after 3:30 p.m. and on Saturdays.
- We accept referrals from private physicians.
- Our laboratory is located in Virtatalo.
- The laboratory has its own entrance next to Virtatalo’s main entrance.
- An accessible route to the entrance requires going around the parking area along a pavement.

Parking
- Our customers may park their car for free in the customer parking area for two hours.
- You get the free parking by entering your car’s registration number in the device located in the laboratory’s lobby.
- Register at the self-registration kiosk when you arrive at the laboratory.
- Our laboratory has a return machine, where you can return most common samples taken at home.
- You may pick up and return sample containers without booking an appointment.

You can book a laboratory appointment online. When booking, you will receive instructions on cancelling or rescheduling your booked appointment. You always need a referral for laboratory tests.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
