Head and Neck Surgery Department S5B, Meilahti Bridge Hospital

In the Head and Neck Surgery Ward S5B in Meilahti Bridge Hospital, we treat oral and maxillofacial surgery patients and ear, nose and throat patients. Our patients arrive either for an elective surgical procedure or through the emergency department.

On the ward, we treat salivary gland diseases, tumors of the nose and sinuses, skin tumors and, for example, tumors of the oral cavity, throat and larynx. We also treat trauma in the facial area, jaw asymmetry, maxillofacial inflammations, and cases of missing teeth and eruption abnormalities requiring surgical procedures.
