The laboratory will be open from June 22nd to August 9th, 2026, only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and by appointment only. Please use the dental clinic entrance.
The laboratory is also closed on Midsummer Eve, 19.6. and Midsummer Day, 20.6.
In the Karkkila laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments.
- For urgent sampling, you do not need to book an appointment.
- You can come for INR monitoring related to blood thinner medication without an appointment Thursdays 1:30 p.m.–2:00 p.m.
- We accept referrals from private physicians.

You can book a laboratory appointment online. When booking, you will receive instructions on cancelling or rescheduling your booked appointment. You always need a referral for laboratory tests.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
Examinations always require a referral. More information on the required preparations, arriving for examinations, and receiving the test results can be found here.
