The new main entrance A will be in use starting on Monday, April 20, 2026. It is on street level in the new building of Jorvi Hospital. The route to the main entrance is from Karvasmäentie.
The main entrance A and the info desk in the main lobby are open on weekdays 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. During the night, the public should use the Jorvi Hospital entrance B, which can be opened via the intercom.
The unit is closed on Friday, 1 May 2026, and on Thursday, 14 May 2026.
In the Jorvi Hospital laboratory we serve customers with booked appointments and walk-in customers may take a queue number. We recommend booking an appointment.
- Our laboratory is located in Jorvi Hospital building O, 1st floor.
- You can access the laboratory through the B door on the first floor. The door is labeled Endoscopy.
- Follow the black floor markings and the blue signs that say Sample Collection from the X-ray unit´s lobby.
- From the main lobby, you can reach the laboratory by taking the N tower elevator to the first floor. When exiting the elevator, turn right through the glass doors.
- You can only access our laboratory by elevator from the main lobby.
- Register at the self-registration kiosk when you enter the laboratory.
- Our laboratory has a return machine, where you can return most common samples taken at home during the laboratory's opening hours.
- You may pick up and return sample containers without booking an appointment.

You can book a laboratory appointment online. When booking, you will receive instructions on cancelling or rescheduling your booked appointment. You always need a referral for laboratory tests.
