Pediatric Ward, Hyvinkää Hospital

The Pediatric Ward in Hyvinkää Hospital treats children and adolescents under the age of 15 in need of specialized medical care.

Hyvinkään sairaalan lasten- ja nuorten osasto

We treat patients in pediatric diseases, pediatric surgery, and pediatric neurology. Most of our patients are admitted from the emergency department, and newborns from the maternity unit. Premature babies are admitted to the ward for further treatment from other HUS hospitals.

Both parents are allowed to stay with their child around the clock. Visits by other guests are agreed upon together with the family.

Please do not come to the hospital if you have a contagious disease (such as an intestinal infection or a respiratory infection). Our ward personnel will provide further information if necessary.
