Intermediate Care, Hyvinkää Hospital

Intermediate care unit patients require constant monitoring and care, as well as treatment methods and equipment developed for intensive care. The patient can be transferred to intermediate care from the Emergency Department, the surgical unit, an inpatient ward at Hyvinkää Hospital or another hospital, and directly from outside the hospital by prehospital emergency care.

The Hyvinkää Hospital Intermediate Care is located in the immediate vicinity of the Emergency Department on floor P of the hospital. 

Visiting Hours

Due to the nature of our unit's operations, we do not have fixed visiting hours. You can agree upon visits with the staff. Your loved one needs plenty of rest because of their condition, which is why we recommend that visits last 15 to 30 minutes, and that only 1 or 2 persons visit at a time.
