Visiting instructions

Our info desk is in the main lobby, opposite the entrance. There is one chair with armrests at the info desk. However, the service desk is rather high (90 cm) to be accessible while seated. Unfortunately, there is no induction loop at our info desk.

Our registration desk is immediately adjacent to the entrance.

We recommend that you use public transport if possible when coming to visit us.

A fee is charged for outdoor parking in the Meilahti hospital area. The parking fee is EUR 2 per hour or part thereof in normal zones and EUR 4 per hour or part thereof in the Haartman Hospital dropoff zone (max 2 hours).

Two means of payment are available for outdoor parking:

• Pay at a ticket machine before parking. Please note that most of the ticket machines only accept coins.
• Pay by mobile device. You may use the EasyPark or ParkMan apps. For further information, please contact the service providers.

A fee is charged for parking in the underground parking garages on a 24/7 basis. The parking fee is EUR 1 per 25-minute period or part thereof. Our parking garages are open to customers Monday to Sunday 06:00–22:00.

• P1 (Haartmaninkatu 4) is reserved for customer use and for contract customers. Access to other buildings in the hospital area is via the outdoor area. The pedestrian exit is via the elevators in Biomedicum 1 (Haartmaninkatu 8). There is a ticket machine in the elevator lobby at the entrance level in Biomedicum.
• P2 (Stenbäckinkatu 9) is reserved for personnel and customer use. There is a tunnel connecting this parking garage to other buildings in the hospital area. Ticket machines can be found along the pedestrian routes exiting the parking garage.
• P3 (Zaidankatu 1) is reserved for personnel and customer use. There is a tunnel connecting this parking garage to other buildings in the hospital area. Ticket machines can be found along the pedestrian routes exiting the parking garage.
  Please note! Entrance to the parking garage from Zaidankatu is closed due to door renovation from September 20 to October 16. Use Stenbäckinkatu entrance to access the parking garage.
   

NOTE! We recommend using parking garage P1, because the access route from parking garage P3 has changed. The old route in front of the Department of Oncology is closed until the Bridge Hospital is completed. The pedestrian entrance to the parking garage in front of the Department of Oncology is closed.
