Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination points will open at Meilahti and Hyvinkää hospitals on October 6.

Influenza vaccinations for at-risk groups and their family members, as well as COVID-19 vaccinations for at-risk groups, will begin at mass vaccination points in Meilahti Tower Hospital and Hyvinkää Hospital. At New Children's Hospital, only influenza vaccinations will be given.

The influenza vaccine is available at the Meilahti Tower Hospital, Hyvinkää Hospital and New Children's Hospital without appointment to people living in Uusimaa who belong to a risk group and family members of individuals particularly vulnerable to severe influenza.

Vaccinations are given in the entrance lobby of Meilahti Tower Hospital every weekday during the first two weeks. After that, vaccinations will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

  • The influenza and COVID-19 vaccination point at Meilahti Tower Hospital will be open from October 6 to November 7.
  • The influenza and COVID-19 vaccination point at Hyvinkää Hospital will be open from October 6 to November 4.
  • The influenza vaccination point at the New Children's Hospital will be open from October 21 to October 24.

The influenza vaccine is available at the Meilahti Tower Hospital, Hyvinkää Hospital and New Children's Hospital without appointment to people living in Uusimaa who belong to a risk group and family members of individuals particularly vulnerable to severe influenza. More information on who the vaccine is for on the THL (Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare) website in Finnish.

The first few days may be busy so be prepared to wait. Alternatively, you can visit at a later date.
