ISO 9001 quality management system
At HUS, we invest in quality and the continuous improvement in our operations. For years, we have engaged in systematic quality and patient safety work.
We are now building a shared, organisation-wide quality management system that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard., to be introduced in stages. Our goal is that all our units will operate within a shared quality management system by the end of 2027. Some of our units are already ISO certified.
The key objective of the shared quality management system is to
- harmonise our operating methods
- ensure patient safety and effective daily operations
- to support the management and continuous development of patient care and the functions that support it.
