Our neuropsychological online rehabilitation is intended for patients who, after falling ill, have experienced changes impeding their functional capacity in issues related to information processing, such as problems with their memory, concentration or the control and planning of their own activities.

Neuropsykologinen nettikuntoutus

Online rehabilitation is recommended during the first year after falling ill, but the timing is individual according to the patient’s condition and needs. Rehabilitation is not suitable for people whose severe symptoms prevent independent work on a computer or smartphone.

After online rehabilitation, you will have a better understanding of the difficulties related to functional capacity. The aim is to increase symptom control, reduce the harm the symptoms cause, and strengthen your life management. The aim is also to reduce your need for assistance and, accordingly, the use of health and social services.

In online rehabilitation, you will be able to communicate with a neuropsychologist and you have the possibility to return to the materials as needed. For participation in the rehabilitation, you will need a computer, tablet or smartphone, as well as online banking credentials for authentication.

The rehabilitation will include eight sessions for you to review independently within approximately two months. Online rehabilitation will provide you with information and self-knowledge, exercises for symptom management, help with memory problems, and operating strategies for everyday life. You can also ask the neuropsychologist about the issues that concern you.

The availability of neuropsychologist services varies in Finland. With online rehabilitation, the service is available to patients all around Finland.

You can use the service even if travelling to appointments would be difficult and health care units are far away. Online rehabilitation is also suitable for patients with mild symptoms who are concerned about changes in their functional capacity.

You need a physician's referral to access the service.
