Flame lily (Gloriosa superba)
Highly toxic. The whole plant contains toxic colchicine. Typical symptoms include a burning sensation in the mouth, thirst, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, bradycardia, hallucinations, sensory disturbances, and respiratory depression. Multi-organ failure is possible. If the plant has been ingested, the patient should seek medical attention.

Flaming Katy, Christmas kalanchoe (Kalanchoë blossfeldiana)
The plant has been found to cause symptoms associated with poisoning only in animals; in humans the plant can be considered non-toxic.
