Treatment of skin conditions
Keywords:We treat all skin conditions and allergies in children and adults, occupational skin diseases, malignant skin tumors and their precursors, as well as difficult-to-treat skin wounds.
We primarily work in the outpatient clinics. We also provide inpatient care for adult patients at the Meilahti Triangle Hospital on the Infectious Diseases, Dermatology, and Rheumatology Ward (K4B).
In addition, we provide services at the Meilahti Skin and Allergy Hospital and Lohja Hospital. We also have a Department of Dermatopathology.
We provide UV phototherapy for various skin conditions and perform necessary allergy tests, such as patch tests, when contact allergies are suspected.
We strive to provide comprehensive care for our patients and take into account their quality of life and psychological factors. A more detailed description of our locations can be found on their respective pages.
All of our patients arrive based on a referral.
We are part of the European Reference Networks (ERN-Skin) for Rare Skin Diseases, and engage in extensive international collaboration and research.
