Meilahti Bridge Hospital X-ray unit

In the Meilahti Bridge Hospital X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations without an appointment and other imaging examinations with an appointment.

Please note that emergency patients requiring urgent care will be served first, so other patients may need to wait.

Our X-ray unit is located at the Meilahti Bridge Hospital.
You can find our X-ray unit when you arrive through the main entrance of Meilahti Hospitals and turn right toward the Bridge Hospital. Follow the signs that say Bridge Hospital.
At the Bridge Hospital, come to the 1st floor by taking elevator S14 or S15 from the main lobby.
In the elevator, press the button that says Röntgen.
If you are visually impaired, register at the information desk at the main entrance of Meilahti Hospital. From there you will be picked up for an X-ray.

MRI safety questionnaire

If you are coming for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), please remember to fill in the safety questionnaire. Bring the form with you to the scan. Please refer to your appointment letter for more information.

You are free to choose your X-ray location

Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.

How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?

Examinations always require a referral. More information on the required preparations, arriving for examinations, and receiving the test results can be found here.
