Jorvi Hospital’s new main entrance opens on April 20, 2026

This entrance is also the route to the older section of the hospital. Only the main entrance and lobby of the new building will be opened at this stage. The route to the new main entrance is from Karvasmäentie. The main entrance is on street level (1st floor) in a junction of the old and new sections of Jorvi Hospital.
The new main entrance A is distinctive. There is ample space in front of the door and short-term parking space for drop-off traffic near the door. Other parking spaces are still located in Espoo Hospital’s parking garage P1.
Until late August 2026, only the main entrance and lobby of the new building are in use. Entrance to the older section of Jorvi Hospital is also through the new main entrance. Treatment units in the new building will open in late August 2026.
The main entrance is initially open only during the day
The new main lobby has an info desk and two self-registration kiosks. Initially, the lobby is only open during the day: The info desk is open on weekdays 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. The main entrance and the info desk are closed during the night. During the night, the public should use the Jorvi Hospital entrance B, which can be opened via the intercom.
Self-registration kiosks are also located on the lobby's 2nd floor, which can be reached with an elevator or escalator. The kiosks provide route instructions to the outpatient clinics. The hospital’s cafe is also located on the lobby’s second floor.
OLKA volunteers help patients register and find their way. The hospital's updated signs provide guidance as well, and the main lobby has additional information on the operations and schedules.
The main lobby will be open around the clock from September 1, 2026, onwards when the treatment units in the new building gradually open. More information about this will be published in early August.
Some patients, such as those seeking emergency care and coming in for childbirth, use other entrances
People coming in to give birth still go to Espoo Hospital.
The entrance to the adult and pediatric emergency departments remains on the Turuntie side of Jorvi Hospital.
Also, patients whose appointments are in Jorvi Hospital's building sections B or G will use the direct entrances to these sections.
