The disruptions in the HUS helpline and telephone services are resolved
Several HUS telephone services experienced a disruption on 27 August 2026. Because of the disruption some calls did not connect, and the callback service was unavailable. The disruption was resolved at 22:30, and all telephone services are now operating normally.
The disruption affected dozens of HUS service numbers, including the Medical Helpline, the Poison Information Centre, and the Childbirth Helpline.
The disruption was caused by an issue in the storage file system. The faulty components of the system have now been repaired.
Based on the information currently available, the disruptions have not caused any serious problems to patient care or patient safety. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.
