Changes to the opening hours of laboratories in South Karelia

Opening hours of HUS laboratories in South Karelia will change on February 2, 2026.
Also, the names of some laboratories will change. Lemi, Rautjärvi, Ruokolahti, and Savitaipale laboratories will become local sampling services.
They will continue operating in the current buildings, but it is possible that they will later move to a different part of the building.
The opening hours for Lemi, Rautjärvi, Ruokolahti and Savitaipale local sampling services starting from February 2, 2026, are:
Lemi local sampling service: Monday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Rautjärvi local sampling service: Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Ruokolahti local sampling service: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Savitaipale local sampling service: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Local sampling services serve customers by appointment.
In South Karelia, the South Karelia Central Hospital, Imatrankoski, and Leiri laboratories serve walk-in customers. You are free to choose where you have your samples collected.
The opening hours remain unchanged at South Karelia Central Hospital, Honkaharju, Imatrankoski, Joutseno, Leiri, Luumäki, Sammonlahti, Parikkala, and Taipalsaari laboratories.
