Our Rehabilitation Clinic for Eye Diseases is located in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki. We support the functional capacity and independent coping of visually impaired persons.
Patients are referred to us by their physician. Our services include the fitting and lending of visual assistive equipment, guidance on use of vision, instruction on orientation and mobility, rehabilitation counseling, social work, and psychologist’s services.
Assistive equipment provided at the rehabilitation clinic include magnifying glasses, electronic magnifying devices, glare glasses, computer aids, and white canes. More information on assistive equipment for vision can be found in the Rehabilitation Hub of the online Health Village (in Finnish).

Please check in on the first floor upon your arrival. Our clinic offers barrier-free access.
We recommend that you use public transport if possible when coming to visit us. The terminus of bus line 506 is located in the hospital yard. The bus stop is called Invalidisäätiö.
There are limited paid parking spaces in the hospital yard for short-term parking. Ruskeasuo also has some opportunities for street parking.
