Kerava Outpatient Clinic

At the Tikkurila Psychosis Outpatient Clinic, we treat psychosis patients.

At the outpatient clinic, we are responsible for outpatient care and rehabilitation of psychotic patients in the Eastern region of Peijas and Kerava. Tikkurila has three outpatient working groups: the Active Rehabilitation Working Group, the Enhanced Outpatient Working Group (Teko) and the Follow-up Working Group. The services are also provided at the premises of the Kerava Outpatient Clinic.

Enhanced Outpatient Working Group (TEKO)

Our working group provides enhanced outpatient treatment periods for patients undergoing treatment at the psychosis outpatient clinics in the Peijas region in situations where more intensive support is required. Such situations include, for example, the threat of recurrence of the psychosis/hospitalization, challenging life situations, and support for discharge from the hospital.​​

Follow-up working group

Our follow-up working group provides services in the Vantaa and Kerava region to patients with a stable long-term schizophrenic disorder. The working group's services include monitoring patients' health and providing contact opportunities where necessary. The services also include support provided to other operators, in particular cooperation with housing services.
