At Laakso Hospital X-ray unit, we conduct plain X-ray examinations without appointment and ultrasound examinations by appointment.

We are located in the Laakso Hospital area, Building 1, entrance D. Our unit is not barrier-free.
There are steep stairs in front of the entrance. An alternative entrance is through entrance G at the end of the building. The tunnel floor has a heavy glass door, which you need to open yourself.

We perform plain X-ray examinations (bone, chest, long bones) without an appointment. You can come in for X-ray examinations when it best suits you.

An appointment for ultrasound examinations can be made by calling our customer service.

We conduct examinations for customers of HUS area health centers and hospitals who are over 16 years of age. X-ray images of children are taken in the X-ray Unit at New Children’s Hospital or at Elielinaukio X-ray Unit.

You are free to choose your X-ray location

Walk-in X-ray units

Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
