Working as a radiographer at the Diagnostic Center
The Diagnostic Center provides radiographers with challenging and diverse work in a multi-professional work community in the radiology units, as well as the opportunity to become skilled in different modalities. Depending on your specific interests, you can choose between the different job descriptions available for radiographers.
In addition to routine X-ray examinations, your duties may include, for example, computed tomography examinations, magnetic resonance imaging scans, mammography, angiography, contrast medium and ultrasound examinations, and procedures performed using different modalities. Your duties may also fall within nuclear medicine.
Depending on the unit, your work may be implemented as one-, two- or three-shift work. We will primarily offer you full-time work, but we will also consider your desire to work part-time.

HUS Diagnostic Center is the leading producer of clinical laboratory and imaging services in Finland. We mainly operate in HUS’s specialized healthcare and in primary healthcare in the wellbeing services counties in the HUS region. We also provide laboratory and imaging services in the wellbeing service counties of Kymenlaakso and South Karelia.
We work in eight medical specialities. We have nationwide responsibility for examinations that require special expertise. We provide research and education required from a university hospital. Diagnostic examinations play a key role in the confirmation and exclusion of illnesses, as part of treatment and treatment monitoring, and screening. Diagnostic Center has about 3,500 laboratory and imaging service professionals working in more than 170 units.
