The Skin and Allergy Hospital is located in the Meilahti hospital area.
If you arrive using public transport or on foot, please be aware that there is a long, steep slope on the access route. For pedestrians, we recommend the 1st floor entrance, which has steps and manually operated doors.
If you need a barrier-free access route, follow the driveway to our main entrance, which has automatic doors. There are wheelchairs available for patient use near the main entrance.
Entrance B has manually operated doors and a high metal threshold in the doorway. There is a portable ramp in the vestibule for bridging the threshold.
The STD Clinic entrance has a manually operated door. The door has a high threshold, and the vestibule is cramped.
You can also arrive via the maintenance access route. There is a large lifting door at the entrance and beside it an access door for pedestrians. There is a doorphone beside the entrance (the switch is 1290 mm from the ground). Please note that there is a steep slope in the tunnel (9%). The tunnel leads to a door from which you can follow the signs to the hospital elevators.
Our elevators are dimensioned to accommodate wheelchair users. Our staircases have handrails on both sides.
