In the Leppävaara X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations, i.e. bone and chest imaging without an appointment. You can come in for X-ray examinations when it best suits you.
An appointment is required for ultrasound examinations. You can make an appointment by calling our customer service.
If you are visually impaired, you will find the info desk on the left side of the entrance. The employee at the desk will guide you to the X-ray unit.
We do not have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table. List of our units with patient lifts.
We conduct examinations for customers from HUS area health centers and hospitals.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
