In 2020, we began to monitor trends in overall productivity, using the ‘cost per patient’ indicator.
In 2020, the cost per patient at HUS was EUR 3,107, an increase of 2.5% (2019: EUR 3,032). At deflated values, the increase on the previous year came to 1.3%. Our goal was to decrease the cost per patient by 1% on the previous year across HUS as a whole.
