Patients typically arrive at the Hyvinkää Hospital Surgery Outpatient Clinic for their first visit on referral from local health centers, from occupational health care, from private medical centers, from other HUS hospitals, from other specialist units at Hyvinkää Hospital or from the emergency clinic. Patients discharged from inpatient wards are invited for follow-up appointments at the Outpatient Clinic as necessary.

Patients are treated under various specialties at the Outpatient Clinic:

We also provide appointments with nurses, such as wound nurses, cancer nurses and urology nurses and for casts.

We also have an outpatient surgery unit (POKI unit). Each year, about 600 procedures are performed at the Outpatient Surgery Clinic: orthopedic hand surgery, urology and plastic surgery, and intravenous laser treatments.

We employ various digital treatment paths and online services for patients such as the Maisa service.
