Meilahti Bridge Hospital X-ray unit

You can find our X-ray unit when you arrive through the main entrance of Meilahti Hospitals and turn right toward the Bridge Hospital. Follow the signs that say Bridge Hospital.
At the Bridge Hospital, come to the 1st floor by taking elevator S14 or S15 from the main lobby. In the elevator, press the button that says Imaging.
Register at the self-registration kiosk and follow the instructions provided on the monitor.
We perform general radiography examinations without appointment. Other examinations (for example ultrasound examinations) require an appointment.
If you are visually impaired, register at the information desk at the main entrance of Meilahti Hospital. From there you will be picked up for an X-ray.
Please note that emergency patients requiring urgent care will be taken to imaging first, so other patients may need to wait.
We have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table. Please call us in advance if you need to use a patient lift.
MRI preliminary information
If you are coming for an MRI examination, please fill in the preliminary information form. Refer to your appointment letter for more information.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
