Point-of-care testing

HUS Diagnostic Center offers point-of-care testing for the treatment units of HUS and the City of Helsinki as well as the wellbeing services counties of Uusimaa, Kymenlaakso, and South Karelia.
In addition to the device, our service includes:
- Support for selecting the device
- Professional expert support for point-of-care testing
- Orientation and instructions
- A designated contact person for the customer and annual meetings
- Additional orientation if necessary.
Our support service is available by phone on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In addition, our service includes controls required for quality management and external quality assessment samples, as well as expert support in case of deviations from the quality control samples. Our customers receive the right to order tendered reagents and supplies.
We also offer the possibility to transfer the results directly to the patient information system (depending on the patient information system and device type), and we will discuss the possible related additional costs during commissioning.
