mevac6.jpgParticipating in a trial is always voluntary. No payments are provided for research participants, but all vaccines are given free of charge.
Each participant will be given either a trial vaccine or a placebo. Participants are usually scheduled to attend 4–7 appointments over the trial period. In addition to blood samples, stool and urine samples may be required.
Participants will be informed about the course of the trial in detail in advance, and their suitability will be checked. Each trial has a specific study protocol accepted by an ethics committee and pharmacovigilance authorities, and strictly adhered to  throughout the trial's course.
By participating in a vaccine trial, you can contribute to development work aiming to improve human health in general, while also improving your own immunity at the same time.
