Customer Panel at Gynecology and Obstetrics


Customer panel members participate and influence
Gynecology and Obstetrics launched its customer panel in spring 2018. The panel consists of women and men of various ages with different experiences from being a patient or a family member of a patient. The panel also has staff members who work as coordinators. Their task is to guide and support the panel in their work. The panel's work and meetings are implemented according to a plan created collaboratively. The basis for the customer panel’s effectiveness is strong support from the department’s management. 
Service users develop activities
Members of the customer panel participate in the planning and development of the services provided by the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. The panel members have participated e.g. in the development of the emergency services at Gynecology and Obstetrics, and discussed and commented on the plans of the upcoming renovation work in the Women’s Hospital lobby. The opinions and experience of the customer panel members will be used in the future e.g. when updating patient instructions, discussing development measures arising from customer feedback, and when creating the principles for excellent service.
