Child patients may only have one adult accompany them

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, HUS limits the number of visitors in hospitals. Only one adult may accompany a child patient to an appointment, the emergency department, surgery and anesthesia wards, and other units. If necessary, the matter can be discussed with the treating unit before you arrive.

Only one parent at a time may visit their child at a ward.

The patient’s siblings are not allowed to visit, because children infected with COVID-19 may only present mild symptoms.
