Disorders of the spinal column

We usually decide on surgical treatment when non-surgical treatment is not helping enough. Each year, we perform about 1,000 back surgery procedures.

Most of the procedures involve releasing compressed nerves in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine trapped because of a prolapsed or degenerated disc. We often include ossification over a few vertebrae in the preoperative measures in order to prevent the problem from recurring.
