Statistics and delivery of safety data sheets

We use products’ safety data sheets when assessing the risk of poisoning in cases of chemical exposure. For the risk assessment, we require the data on the dangerous components, pH value, and general properties such as the state, color, and odour.

All safety data sheets must be delivered to the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency Tukes, which is the official appointed body responsible for receiving safety data sheets in Finland (CLP Article 45). The Poison Information Center does not have its own database for safety data sheets but we use the database provided by Tukes.
