Ward P1, Peijas Hospital

Keywords:
  • psychosis

Peijas Hospital’s Ward P1 is a closed ward where we treat psychosis patients.

The most common psychosis diseases are schizophrenia, delusional disorder, and schizoaffective disorder. We mainly treat patients from the Vantaa and Kerava area.

We will plan your treatment together with you, your family, and the various cooperation partners. After the stay on the ward, your treatment will usually continue as outpatient care, for example, at a psychiatric outpatient clinic.

On the ward, we operate in accordance with a psychoeducational approach, which includes, among other things, face-to-face discussions with a nurse and various therapy groups.

Remote Ward

The remote ward is a new form of treatment in which we treat patients via a video connection. The treatment is intended for Peijas Hospital’s psychosis outpatient clinic patients, who live in housing units. Our goal is to help and support you in coping at home.
