In the Peijas Hospital X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations without appointment and other examinations by appointment.
Come in through the hospital’s main entrance and take the elevator to the 1st floor.
We perform plain X-ray examinations (bone, chest, long bones) without appointment. You can come in for imaging examinations when it best suits you.
Other examinations require an appointment. See the instructions below for details.
You can make an appointment by calling (tel. 09 4718 0900 Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.).
You will be given an appointment for the examination and you will be informed of the appointment by letter. Examinations such as: ultrasound, X-ray, mechanical axis, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
We carry out examinations for the HUS area health center and hospital customers.
Please note that emergency patients requiring urgent care will be taken to imaging first, so other patients may need to wait.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
