In case of emergency, such as severe shortness of breath, large bleeding wound or convulsive child, call the emergency number 112. Paramedics will assess the need for treatment and transport the patient to the correct location for treatment.
Health center emergency services
If your child falls ill suddenly, their primary place of treatment is your local health center on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and after 4:00 p.m., the Joint Emergency Service at New Children's Hospital.
Emergency services for specialist medical care
Emergency services for specialist medical care is open 24 hours a day. We treat patients under the age of 16 in all specialty fields. Your child will come to us primarily on the basis of a referral.
The Pediatric Emergency Department also houses a clinic for follow-up care of injuries.
